Reading the Bible with Obama

Here's a quote from Obama:

"Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal (huh?), rather than religion-specific, values (and what's wrong with that!). It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason. (What about religion-specific is not reasonable?!)  I may be opposed to abortion for religious reasons, but if I seek to pass a law banning the practice, I cannot simply point to the teachings of my church (and what church is that Mr. Obama?) or evoke God's will. (God's will is absolute! You're saying that the teachings of your church are not absolute?  What god do you worship Mr. Obama?)  I have to explain why abortion violates some principle (I call this the Ten Commandments of God) that is accessible to people of all faiths, including those with no faith at all."  Christianity Today posted 6/30/2008

Those in bold are my comments!

And you want him to be president????

You Think About That!

Until Next Time America!
