Appropriate for the Fiasco in Washington and Other Places
Mood:  mischievious

I just had to add this to the blog.  I think you will find it fitting!

Science Reveals Heaviest Element Ever Discovered

Research has led to the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.0 These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction normally taking less than a second, to take from four days to four years to complete.  Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2-6 years. It does not decay, but undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy 20 neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes, not to mention multiple oxymorons.  This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. That hypothetical quantity might normally be called 'critical mass' but, in this unique case it is known as 'critical mess'.  When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium(Am), another just-discovered element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.  Author unknown

The Wisdom of Chuck Norris
Mood:  celebratory

From a fellow actor, although he makes more at it than I do!

Clandestine Conservatives in Hollywood

by  Chuck Norris

09/30/2008

As I was being interviewed recently at my Texas ranch by Geraldo Rivera, I thought back over my four decades in acting and how the pool of conservative "tough guys" seems to be drying up in Hollywood. Or are liberal waters just getting too hot for conservatives?

Then I recalled that The Washington Times recently reported, "A group of politically conservative and centrist Hollywood figures (up to 600 at once) organized by actor Gary Sinise and others has been meeting quietly in restaurants and private homes, forming a loose-knit network of entertainers who share common beliefs like supporting U.S. troops and traditional American values." But the article also noted that the secret is out on these clandestine meetings, as conservatives progressively are becoming more and more emboldened.

In a so-called age of tolerance, it amazes me just how intolerant some people are of those who stand for traditional values. For example, if I stand against California's memorializing of Harvey Milk Day or stand for California's Proposition 8, which would create an amendment to the California Constitution to safeguard heterosexual purity in marriage (which I do support and encourage Gov. Schwarzenegger and all Californians to do the same), I'm considered by many to be intolerant and a bigot. But if another actor takes just the opposite positions on those measures, he is considered to be compassionate and a liberator. Or when a liberal candidate, such as Hillary Clinton, runs for president, her candidacy is considered a fulfillment of civil rights and women's suffrage. But when a conservative candidate, such as Sarah Palin, runs for vice president, she's considered a radical right-wing extremist who could usurp the Capitol by toting rifles at her side.

This is America, and we should respect the fact that we will have strong, diverse opinions, and we must allow one another the freedom of speech to air such opines, not suppress them through peer pressure of any type like children. I have many acting friends and many friends in politics. I vehemently disagree with some of them, and that is my American right, as it is theirs. We must agree to disagree agreeably, without blogging about or denigrating someone's life and character before the nation and rest of the world. We must do better at keeping the focus on the fact that we are Americans first; we are not just conservatives and liberals.

If we are going to move our country forward, if it is going to survive and flourish for the next generation, then we have to drop the partisan rancor and pick up a unified patriotism -- not the patriotism of the past eight years or even the past 18 years, but the patriotism of unified spirit and passion shown by early Americans. What was important to them, what they fought for, was not the left or the right, but being American and being free. We've got to get back to that form of patriotism -- one that is based upon the Constitution, not congressional corruption, and elects people for their character, not their charisma. These are the type of citizens and leaders who don't go deeper into debt to bail out debt. These are the type of citizens and leaders who will say enough is enough. Like Ron Paul, who, after drawing similarities between the $700 billion bailout and the Great Depression, said, "The only thing we learn from history, I am afraid, is that we do not learn from history." (Getting to the heart of America's Founders' beliefs -- their patriotism and answers to our problems -- is also at the heart of why I wrote my latest New York Times best-seller, "Black Belt Patriotism.")

I admire those in the recent past who were able to represent a respectful conservatism in the liberal-leaning show business industry -- men such as Charlton Heston, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart and Ronald Reagan. And I'm grateful for others today who also have stood for conservative values -- incredible actors such as Jim Caviezel, Mel Gibson, Jon Voight and others. These are the type of men who will go against the grain of the Hollywood status quo. These are the type of men who get the fact that entertainment isn't about playing party politics. These are the type of men who demonstrate what my hero and stalwart conservative, John Wayne, once said: "Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway."

Despite Tinseltown's liberal leanings, there is a lot of good that conservatives are doing in the film industry -- not only for American entertainment but also for activism. That is why I recommend movies such as Sherwood Pictures' "Fireproof," David Zucker's "An American Carol" and the millennial social cry to expose and stop the global and even American slave trade, "Call + Response."

Underground or aboveground, we're all "created equal … endowed by (our) Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." On Main Street or Wall Street, in the movie business or the political arena, maybe there's much more overlap in life than we think; maybe we've got a lot more in common than we really know. We're Americans.

(Note From Chuck: My wife, Gena, and I send our heartfelt condolences to the family and close friends of Paul Newman. Newman was absolutely one of Hollywood's finest, not only as an actor but also as a gentleman and humanitarian. Another legendary actor, who inspired us all, has ridden off into the sunset, but he never will be forgotten.)

Your Attention Please!
Mood:  on fire

Picked this up from an email I received!  If this continues, we'll have a big government monarchy real soon!  I thought we fought against this say...during the Revolutionary War!

____________________________________________

Worthy of your time and attention regardless of your Party Affiliation

545 PEOPLE
By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits,  WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget.   The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations.   The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.   In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.   They have no legal authority.   They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.   I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.   The politician has the power to accept or reject it.   No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault.   They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall.   No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.   The president can only propose a budget.   He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.   Who is the speaker of the House?   She is the leader of the majority party.   She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want.   If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.   I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.   When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.   Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation,' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees
.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

This Better Not Be True
Mood:  incredulous

Snopes says undetermined but does not say it is false or that it is true  I guess time will tell.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/vpchange.asp

I heard Limbaugh say something on 9/19 about Hillary being put on the ticket.  Guess this is what he was talking about!

Subject: Fwd: Fw: Breaking News.....

Just in case this could be true...

For those of you who would not like to see this happen...pass it on...and on...and on...

For those of you who would be happy for it to happen...do whatever you'd like with this email...just know if it happens that it has been planned in desperation...not a sudden necessity...more deception.  Is this the kind of leadership you can trust?

IThis would be a total disaster!  Let's pray ths does not happen!  CJ

On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket,
citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is
timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.

There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.
Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out
there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as i s possible.
I have already seen a few short blurbs about this - the 'health
problem' cited in those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you
have heard the same rumblings.

However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks
like this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the
best strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it
out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.

So, let's start mixing this one up and cut the Obamites off at the
pass - send this info out to as many people as you can - post about it
on websites and blogs - etc

I Wish I Had Written This!
Mood:  happy

I wish I had written this.  It took a Canadian woman to bring these feelings out!  Thank you!

_______________________

This was written by a Canadian woman, but oh how it also applies to the
U.S. , U.K. and Australia

THIS ONE PACKS A FIRM PUNCH

Here is a woman who should run for Prime Minister!

Written by a housewife in New Brunswick , to her local newspaper. This
is one ticked off lady.

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not
started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001
and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day,
in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from the nation's capitol and in
a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and  children die a horrible,
burning or crushing death that day,   or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban   were claiming to be
tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting
against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents
for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start
caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable
by beheading in Afghanistan .

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking
off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed
throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come
out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by
hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blows themselves up in search
of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide
bombs.

I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom
of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on
the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when
something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing
up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this:

I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not
to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:

I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a  Koran and a prayer mat,
and 'fed special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining
that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in
your heart of hearts:

I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran'
and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it,

I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail
friends  Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this
ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should
you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities
committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country!
And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a
difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't have that problem.'

I have another quote that I would like to add, AND.......I hope you
forward all this.

One last thought for the day:

Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ

2. The Canadian Soldier.

3. The British Soldier.

4. The US Soldier, and

5. The Australian Soldier

One died for your soul, the other 4 for your   freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET ALL OF THEM.

AMEN!

You Think About That!

Until Next Time America!

PETA and Animal 'Rights'
Mood:  incredulous

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) I'm sure started out with noble ideas and ideals, but now the liberal agenda has further taken over this group saying that animals have more right than humans!  Now I'm not saying that animals don't have some sort of rights, but to say they possess 'more' than humans??? Come on!!  We were created to be rulers of this earth as good stewards with wisdom and knowledge.  Now, granted we have abused that assignment but now it's time to take responsibility for our actions, not worship animals!

PETA, in it's infinite stupidity, wants to buy at least one Sea World and release the animals into the wild and put holograms of animals in their place!  Now who's lame brained idea was this?! One, Sea World has one of the most successful breeding programs around.  Most of their whales and dolphins were born in capitivity.  Releasing them in the wild, not knowing how to hunt, is a sure death sentence for these great creatures!  Second, Sea World would fold in an instant with hologram displays, which is probably PETA's agenda in this case.  People want to learn and also have fun doing it while experiencing the proximity of these animals!

You think I'm kidding??? Read the article that follows:

PETA: Nothing fishy about SeaWorld bid

By Michael Stetz
STAFF WRITER

August 21, 2008

SAN DIEGO – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants to buy SeaWorld. One guess what the group wants to do with the popular theme park.

The animal rights avocates said they have a donor willing to put up the bucks to buy at least one of the three SeaWorld parks – in Orlando, San Antonio or, of course, San Diego – put the animals in marine sanctuaries and perhaps return some to the wild one day.

The group wouldn't close the joint. Instead, it would replace the killer whales, dolphins, stingrays and other animals with virtual reality exhibits.

PETA is known for staging publicity stunts, including one in Ocean Beach last year where half-naked people put fish hooks in their mouths to protest game fishing, but it swears this is no hoax. Still, the group won't identify the donor.

“He chooses to remain anonymous,” said Lisa Wathne, a PETA spokeswoman.

PETA has never been a fan of SeaWorld, saying the marine animals suffer from living in small tanks instead of their natural habitat.

The group saw an opportunity when news broke that SeaWorld's current owner, beer giant Anheuser-Busch, is poised to be swallowed whole by the larger beer giant InBev, a Belgium firm.

Experts believe InBev will divest itself of Anheuser-Busch's 10 theme parks and concentrate on beer once the sale is final. The parks could be worth as much as $4 billion. The company sold SeaWorld Ohio for $110 million in 2001.

While a company would normally prefer to sell the entire theme-park package to a single buyer, InBev may be willing to sell the parks piecemeal, said Jack Russo, an analyst with the investment firm Edward Jones.

“It's a tough time to be unloading these kind of assets,” he said.

PETA said the donor has deep enough pockets to buy at least one of the SeaWorlds. The group sent a letter Friday to InBev's CEO spelling out the deal.

PETA hasn't heard back, Wathne said. No one could be reached at InBev for comment.

SeaWorld said all questions about a sale need to go through InBev, but spokesman Dave Koontz called PETA's effort “a publicity stunt.”

At least one marine mammal expert, Lee Kellar of the Alaska SeaLife Center, said releasing marine mammals back into the wild is “a very difficult transition” for the animals.

Even a marine sanctuary wouldn't be much of a benefit, he said, because the animals would still need the care of humans. “It would cause a lot of pain and suffering for the animals,” Kellar said.

Obama, Slavery. and Hypocracy

Obama sticks his foot in his mouth again!  Read these comments from Ann Coulter in a recent article. (Credit given)

Constitutional Scholar Obama Questions Legality of Slavery Ban

08/20/2008

This week, Barack Obama's challenge is to select a running mate who's young, hip, and whose accomplishments in life don't overshadow Obama's. Allow me to suggest Kevin Federline.

The only thing we can be sure of is that Obama will choose someone who is the polar opposite of all his advisers until now. In other words, it will be a very, very white male who was probably proud of his country even before being chosen as Obama's running mate.

Obama's got a lot of ground to make up following that performance last weekend at the Saddleback presidential forum with Pastor Rick Warren.

After seeing Obama defend infanticide with the glib excuse that the question of when life begins is above his "pay-grade," Rev. Jeremiah Wright announced that although he's known Obama for 30 years, he only recently became aware of how extreme the senator's viewpoints were. Wright, after all, has his reputation to consider.

Network heads responded by dashing off an urgent memo: During the main presidential debates this fall, ask NO questions about abortion, ethics or evil! Morality isn't the Democrats' forte.

Obama's defenders spin his abominable performance in the Saddleback forum by saying he's just too smart to give a straight answer. As Rick Warren charitably described Obama's debate performance: "He likes to nuance things ... He's a constitutional attorney." The constitutional lawyer "does nuance," as Bill Maher said on "Larry King Live," "and you saw how well that goes over with the Rick Warren people."

If that's Obama's excuse, he ought to know a few basics about the Constitution.

Did the big constitutional lawyer whose "nuance" is too sophisticated for Rick Warren's audience see the letter his wife sent out on his behalf in 2004? Michelle Obama denounced a federal law banning partial-birth abortion, writing that "this ban on a legitimate medical procedure is clearly unconstitutional." Clearly!

The Supreme Court later found the law not "unconstitutional," but "constitutional" -- which I believe may have been the precise moment when Michelle Obama realized just how ashamed she had always been of her country.

But most stunningly, when Warren asked Obama if he supported a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, Obama said he did not "because historically -- because historically, we have not defined marriage in our Constitution."

I don't care if you support a marriage amendment or not. That answer is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard anyone say. If marriage were already defined in the Constitution, we wouldn't need an amendment, no?

Say, you know what else was "historically" not defined in the Constitution? Slavery. The words "slavery" and "slave" do not appear once in the original Constitution. The framers correctly thought it would sully the freedom-enshrining document to acknowledge the repellent practice. (Much like abortion!)

But in 1865, the 13th Amendment banned slavery throughout the land, in the first constitutional phrase ever to mention "slavery": "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

On Obama's "historical" argument, they shouldn't have passed the 13th Amendment because the Constitution "historically" had not mentioned slavery.

Do we know for a fact Barack Obama has read the Constitution? Obama's Facebook profile: "I'm pro-infanticide, I love sunsets, and I don't get the 13th Amendment!"

This is the guy who thinks he can condescend to Clarence Thomas? Asked at the Saddleback forum which Supreme Court justice Obama would not have nominated, Obama said ... the black one!

In Obama's defense, he said he thought Thomas wasn't experienced enough "at the time." So I guess Obama thinks Thomas should have to "wait his turn."

By contrast, Obama has experience pouring out of those big ears of his. Asked last year by Robin Roberts on ABC's "Good Morning America" about his lack of experience in foreign policy, Obama took umbrage.

Swelling up his puny little chest, Obama said: "Well, actually, my experience in foreign policy is probably more diverse than most others in the field. I'm somebody who has actually lived overseas, somebody who has studied overseas. I majored in international relations."

He actually cited his undergraduate major as a qualification to be president.

But on Saturday night, Obama said he didn't think Clarence Thomas was a "strong enough jurist or legal thinker" to be put on the Supreme Court.

I bet Thomas has heard of the 13th Amendment!

Obama and the Second Amendment
Mood:  irritated

Barack Obama's Ten Point Plan to "Change" The Second Amendment

1) Ban use of firearms for home defense.

2) Pass Federal laws eliminating your Right-to-Carry.

3) Ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns.

4) Close down 90% of the gun shops in America.

5) Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.

6) Increase fedeal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500 percent.

7) Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime.

8) Expand the Clinton semi-auto ban to include millions more firearms.

9) Mandate a government-issued license to purchase a firearm.

10) Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and Federal judiciary who share his views on the Second Amendment.

Welcome to socialism!  Welcome Obama's many 'Changes' and his secret agenda!  DON"T LET IT HAPPEN!

Nondiscriminatory

Just to show you that I don't discriminate,  here is something my dad sent me about Democrats.

_____________________________________________________

John Glenn (DEMOCRAT) said this ----- It should make us all think a little:

There were 39 combat related killings in

Iraq in January. In the fair city
of

Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's just one
American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of

 Iraq

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, tell
them the following:

FDR (DEMOCRAT) led us into World War II.

 Germany never attacked us; Japan
did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ... an average of 112,500 per
year

Truman (DEMOCRAT) finished that war and started one in

 Korea

 North Korea
never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ... an average of
18,334 per year.

John F. Kennedy (DEMOCRAT) started the

 Vietnam conflict in 1962.

 Vietnam
never attacked us.

Johnson (DEMOCRAT) turned

 Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000
lives were lost ... an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton (DEMOCRAT) went to war in

Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a
platter
three times by

Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple
occasions.

This one is a fact that makes me mad:

In the years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two
countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear

 inspectors in
Libya ,

 Iran , and,

North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a
terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.  And the Democrats are
complaining about how long the war is taking.

But Wait, There's more.

It took less time to take

Iraq than it took Janet Reno (DEMOCRAT) to take
the Branch Davidian compound That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in

 Iraq for less time
than it took Hillary Clinton (DEMOCRAT) to find the Rose law firm billing
records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy
the

Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police
after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take

Iraq than it took to count the votes in

 Florida
!!!
Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB! The Military morale is high!

The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.

But Wait ....There's more!

JOHN GLENN (on the Senate floor - January 26,

 2004)

Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do
for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard
Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu
speech, but it's also a good example of one man's explanation of why
men and
women in the armed services do what they do for a

 living.

This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served
think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):

'How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?'

Senator Glenn (D-Ohio): 'I served 23 years in the United States Marine
Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by
anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It
wasn't mycheckbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was not a
nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to
the bank. I ask you to go with me, as I went the other day... to a
veteran's
hospital and look those men ... with their mangled bodies ... in the eye,
and tell THEM they didn't hold a job!

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the
widows and orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee ... and you
look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DAD'S didn't hold a
job.

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in

 Arlington

 National Cemetery ,
where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch
those waving flags. You stand there, and you think about this nation, and
you have the gall to tell ME that those people didn't have a job?

What about Metzenbaum?  For those who don't remember During W.W.II, Howard
Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the

 USA .

Now he's a Senator!

If you can read this, thank a teacher.  If you are reading it in English
thank a Veteran.

My dad is 90! He's been around and taught me a lot!  He knows his stuff!  He's also a diehard Republican which I hope he doesn't do a foolish thing and vote the party or the lesser evil of the two evils!

In my opinion, if you vote for Obama Bin Laden you either don't have a brain or are a commy pinko liberal Republican or Democrat!  If you are voting for McCain you are essentially voting Obama in.  They have the same views.  Now the geniuses out there will vote for Baldwin and Castle.  Voting for them will steer this country back to God and America's greatness!  Vote Constitution!

You Think About That!

Until Next Time America!

It's McCain's Turn

Not to be biased but here's some stuff on McCain that'll get you going.  From that sage from the airwaves....Rush Limbaugh!

'"If I am elected President, I assure you that in 2009 I will ask Congress to pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform." So declared John McCain on June 19 at a late-night closed-door meeting with "Hispanic leaders" in Chicago, according to a report on Michelle Malkin's website and by AP.  So much for McCain's recent "secure-the-border-first" assurances.  In this world, "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" means only one thing: amnesty.'

Democrats are continually on the wrong side of every major issue facing America....What ought to be boldly stated in this campaign, is: American people, it's time to stop putting your trust and hope in the federal government. They're not going to make your life better, because they can't.  You are in charge of you own life. You're much better equipped, you're much better also to solve your problems and overcome your obstacles than some bureaucrat is.  You do it. This is not a sin.  It's called individual responsibility - the route to greatness.

Liberalism erases any notion of individual responsibility.  Liberalism's mission is to create as many helpless victims, dependent on liberals, as possible.  Liberalism's job is to create ever more power for liberals, via the encroaching reach of the state.  Our first order of business should be to discredit big-government liberalism in the eyes of more and more Americans. Liberals and liberalism should be the continued target.

We have McCain, who is out there seeking as many Democrat votes as he can get.  He has no interest in building a conservative movement, or even touting Republican Party strength against Democrat weakness.

There will be serious challenges to economic prosperity if the Democrats get as much control as they seek.  State governments will be raising taxes as well.  Policy debacles based on the global warming hoax, with horrendous economic costs, are ahead.

It's called American exceptionalism.  American greatness, American exceptionalism, is all of us, not Washington.  We're the ones who make the country work.  We're the ones who get up every day and make the economy hum. They're the ones who put obstacles in our way.  Even when we have a friendly Administration, we still have obstacles in our way - encumbrances of previous policies that even our guys can't get rid of. Yet we always triumph, because we have the freesom, the energy, the ambition, the desire, the drive of Americans.  We will just need more of that, given what we face.

We'll just have to continue to make America great in spite of who happens to be leading the...country.  There are millions upon millions of people, you among them, working every day to make the country work.  At the same time, there are others scheming to take away what you've worked for - to give it away to others who haven't worked fo it, so that they will feel better about themselves.  We'll just have to work harder to overcome that.

Make no mistake: we will eliminate the present threat of virulent liberalism.  The current crop of leftists and their dreams of control will be defeated, and individual liberty will be restored and preserved.  We don't have an elected leadership in Washington that will stand up to the left now, but we will.  Meanwhile, we'll have to hold the line ourselves.  And we can; we're Americans.
