I am currently 52. Debbie, well...I won't tell you how old she is but she was born in the same year
as I was and had a birthday on 30 April. (So you figure it out!)
I currently work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as an Oceanographer.
I've been there since 1984. Finished a Masters degree at Johns Hopkins in Environmental Sciences and Policy (only took
me 22 years to finish.(Who says I'm a slow learner!) I also volunteer as an Exhibit Guide at the National Aquarium in Baltimore,
Maryland and I also volunteer on their Marine Animal Rescue Program (MARP).
Debbie is a business assistant in a dental office and has been in the dental field for over 28
years!
I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 29 January 1958. The first memories were not in Milwaukee but
in Fullerton, California. I remember our on Los Palmas Ave, named James Stemison. James, if you're out there,
hope you like the plug!
When I was 5, we moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where I attended grade school at Gesu School in University Heights
and Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls. My parents say this is where I fell off the traditional family wagon.
I next attended the University of Miami (Go Canes!) studying Marine Science and Biology. After a short Masters degree
pursuit, I started my career at NOAA in Maryland, and then while working, finally finished my Masters at JHU. And that's
where I'm at personally.
Debbie was born in Minneapolis, Minnisota and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia, and then eventually in Rockville,
Maryland, where I met her in 1984. We married in 1986 on 26 April, 1986. Our son Matthew was born on 26 August,
1995.

Hairiness Runs In The Family!

What a guy!
This is our addition to the family. This is Sam. Sam was given up by two families before we came
and adopted him. He's like a second son to me. He even likes to 'herd' my son Matthew when they run together.
Sibling rivalries!
UPDATE - Sam passed away due to a virulent, undetected form of spleen cancer on June 9, 2008. I
miss my little boy!
